North East Florida
Senior Golf Association
March and April 2010

We are getting near the end of winter and while we still have our snowbirds with us, this newsletter is setting up our annual championship competition. As usual, championship will be a 36 holes competition played over 2 courses totaling both scores for Gross or Net prizes. The first round will be held at Pelican Bay North on March 8, 2010 and the 2ND at Eagle Landing on March 22, 2010.  Participation is voluntary and not necessary to play in the tournaments. To be eligible you must have played with NEFSGA 4 times since July 1, 2009. If you are eligible and wish to compete, you need to send a separate check for $10 to Harry Bunker along with your entry checks. Championship will be flighted based on the number of entries with prizes awarded for Low Gross and Low Net in each Flight and an Overall Gross NEFSGA Champion. Make ALL checks out to NEFSGA…

We are looking for a member to fill the Public Relations position: someone to coordinate efforts to get our association name and reputation out to senior golfers in the four counties of the northeast Florida area; someone to engage in promoting or creating good will for our association by writing or selecting favorable publicity material and releasing it through various communications media.
Public Relations is not a difficult job but a very responsible one
that will contribute to the continuing success of our organization.
There are certain benefits that go along with the PR position.
For more information please contact Harry Bunker.
