HALIFAX PLANTATION Tournament Rainout
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our tournament at Halifax Plantation on 5/17/10 and it has been rescheduled for July 19, 2010. I intend to keep all the same checks and members and carry them over to play on July 19, 2010. It is only necessary to contact me if you were entered to play 5/17/10 and you will NOT be able to play on the new date of 07/19/10. If you wish to opt out of Halifax and use your check for another event, just let me know. Of course, any members who were not entered are certainly welcome & encouraged to also play. There is plenty of room. Just send me an entry and check so that you can join us on July 19th.
There is still plenty of room inJune at Pine, Marsh Creek and on July 19th at Halifax Plantation tournaments. COME ON OUT!! We'll be happy to see you.
Annual Membership Renewal Information
Our year runs from July 1st to June 31st and this year, due to economic conditions, we have had to increase our annual fee to $35.00. This is the first increase we have had since 1996 when it was increased from $20 to $25. Since then, we have had a drop in membership and, in order to keep most tournament fees at $50, with a few special exceptions, like Slammer & Squire, the Board has decided to increase the annual fee to $35.00. The 50-50 program is a help in balancing our expenses and we hope you will continue to support this effort.
Please send your annual fee to Dick Morrison AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so he can work on our directory to include ALL members in its pages.

We have some of the best courses available and suggest you get
your entries in early to guarantee your participation in these great events.
They filled up quickly last year and we have a limit of how many we can accept.
We are hopeful that attendance will be high at these wonderful upcoming tournaments. We need more of our members at all of our events.
Our President, Dick Moffitt, is planning our Annual Membership Meeting on
June 14, 2010 at the Pine Course right after our tournament. It is our members chance to have some input with their suggestions to help improve our Association. Please try to attend and hang around after your buffet luncheon.
